For those of you into theater, Allegiance is a rave-review musical starring among many George Takei. Not necessarily about the 442d, but more about Japanese-American Internment during the war years. A story of a family (and of course some love things thrown in, can't be a musical without it 
), struggling to find their identity during the war. One of the brothers however, does volunteer for the 442...
There is of course more to it, but it can't be drama without some interesting plotlines.
But lately its been a big hit so far amongst theater goers and critics.
