AA Report

It was a good battle. Both sides were pretty evenly matched and the battle was pretty much a back and forth see-saw battle. Weather was nice and Holcomb was a little greener than I recall it being last time.

We fought from about 10am to 4pm on Saturday. I did not stay for Sunday as the Bellflower show was Sunday and I had to do some work.

The Thompson was pretty devastating and the Germans really don't like getting killed, but man its heavy! I'm still pretty sore from carrying that paperweight.

Had fun being back and seeing old faces and whatnot.

Also managed to chase our own forces in constant circles which made for a lot of hiking and running around Holcomb.

But in all like Tim said. Forces were pretty even and honestly it was a draw. They ended up pushing the crap out of us even though we were supposed to be on the offensive and then we managed to get our act together and make up for it at the end of the day. Shot up all the blanks I had and probably nabbed as many baddies at this event as I have in previous time going out.

Didn't take my camera or phone with me into the field so I sadly have no pictures. Hard when you are too busy having fun "playing."

All in all a good battle to get me back into the hobby.
