Actually with just a short event, we would be showing up for breakfast in uniform and supporting Ed Pepping. For those who may not know who he is, Ed is a veteran of the 101st Airborne. He is a very friendly and personable guy and leaves an impression on everyone he meets. I highly recommend this as we are losing WWII vets every day and very, very soon there won't be any left. This is your chance to meet a real WWII veteran who was there and did that. There is a very real possibilty that this could be the last chance as there are not that many veterans left among us any more.

Coming up this Saturday. If you want to ride with me in my jeep I still have 2 seats open but need to know asap as space is limited. Otherwise meet us at the Church. Meet me at my place 6:30am. I hope to be home by noon.
Come in uniform. BTW, Ed by my calculations is 85 years old now. If you haven't met him you ought to do it now. Hard to say how long our WWII vets with be with us any longer and they are passing away at an alarming rate.
