I just recieved this message about the 70 anniversary of the shelling of the Oil Refinery by Japanese submarine I-17. I would go myself as I need to make a trip to Goleta but I will be at the Ost Front battle at Reyes Creek that day. In case you hadn't heard about it, I'm sending you a flyer (attached) on an interesting event in 2 weeks from today (2/19) to commemmorate the shelling of the oil refinery in Goleta by the Japanese 70 years ago. They're looking for volunteers to come in early WWII uniforms, and since you know all the guys who did the Palm Springs thing for Pearl Harbor Day--when they use to do that--I thought you could spread the word about this to that group who have the appropriate uniform.Attachments:

A couple of us went went there! We represented the CHG and had pictures taken of us and were in the local paper!
