I am planning on attending this battle. I have been asked by the 2nd Fallschirmjager to come with them. Crete was primarily between the British and German Fallschirmjagers. Fighting was bitter and the outcome of this battle determined the end of large scale airborne operations for the German Fallschirmjagers.
