Jim Frey's Memorial

Jim Frey's Memorial will be on the 30th at 11am. Please post if you can attend. I myself plan on attending. The following is a message from our club President, Anthony Ardisone.

Hello,

I've been informed that Jim Frey's memorial will be held at the Planes Of Fame Museum in Chino on October 30th, at 11:00. The folks in charge of setting it up are trying to figure out how many people will be attending. The numbers will determine where in the museum they will have it or if we can fit in certain areas (which may require moving planes and displays). So, they need a headcount. To make this more simple for myself, please poll your membership, get me numbers of who is going, and then pass the number to me. I will add them and pass them on to the staffers. I'd like to have the numbers by the 20th. If a few people cannot fully commit and drop out after the 20th, it shouldn't be a problem.

They are also polling the MTH Expo staff/members as well as the WWI group. So, please ask your members to only "register" with one club so that they do not "double-book."

Please do not have your members e-mail me individually with their attendance.

I would like to attend but I have in the last year buried my younger brother and first nephew. I can send prayers for the family!

Also, if people want to wear their uniforms to the memorial, they should feel free. The family has no preference on attire.

I will be attending the memorial and I will be wearing my Class A WWII Uniform. Since I own a digital bugle I will contact Anthony to see if they need one.

I think I'll pass on wearing WW2 wools on that day. After being in that hot, miserable Chino weather a few weekends ago, I'll wear normal, funeral attire.
