well folks its been a long time since i talked to you guys. just to let you guys know i am close to getting my A.A. degree, like 1 humanities class short, and i am starting my classes for a teaching certificate. i know what you guys are thinking "dogface teaching kids, god help us!" ;D
hopefully i will be able to scrounge up enough cash to get out to a battle or living history event, i know i got to renew my unit membership and chg dues. but i hope to see you guys soon. and sorry again for dropping off the face of the earth for so long.

Hey I wouldn't complain one bit. You almost have an Associates!
You're doing better than I am IMO, so hang in there and finish that bad boy out.
What are your plans after finishing that? Going for the full Batchelor's and your State Teaching License?

yup after i get my AA and get my gpa up i plan to transfer back to sdsu to finish my education

Glad to hear from you Brett. I've moved to Los Alamitos. Can still take people on carpools but I'm another 1/2 hour or so north of you now.

well I have a car now so im good for transportation, just need to save up for gas, blanks, fees.
on a side note I wanted to teach history but now im leaning to english. I hope to be teaching highschoolers then after a while I may want to try teaching college. But i know right im just getting by.

Going to school, thats a good thing. At least you "keep at it" no matter what.
You'll have to get in contact with the fellas stateside to get an idea of whats going on but I'm sure the Fall Camp Roberts is coming...
Any possibility you can make it?

oh yes very tough havent found anything me and my girl think of relocating elsewhere san diego county is job empty. Unfortunatly i cant go this year to camp roberts but i look forward to it in 2012 well its great to hear from some of you its been awhile since i visited the forum hopefully i will visit more often lol
