Great link! history.amedd.army.mil/booksdocs/wwii/blood/default.htmThis is an official US Army document straight from the US Army website. It gives an amazing history of the use of whole blood in treating casualties during World War Two and even chronicles before it as well. HUGE amount of information here. It's going to take me a while to sort through it all, but it is here for anyone else to use as reference as well. Several advancements in mordern medicine were made during World War Two and this is one of the most important ones.
