I always liked the pork rib MRE....it was the mac & cheese that I hated.

Tim - do you have a plan for how you want to employ my .30 cal? I don't mind humping it, but I wouldn't be able to carry the MG, tripod and two ammo cans by myself. I will gladly carry the MG...or we can "rat patrol" it again if that's your decision. Please let me know so I know how to prepare and what to bring. Thanks Lt.

You can mount it on my jeep again, but bring your tripod. When we stop we will deploy.

Extended forecast right now is rain. If you have them wear your M43's and double buckles, Those are better wet weather gear than the earlier uniform. Raincoats if you have them.
I'm trying to get a small truck for our unit this battle. Hopefully we will all be mobile. Looking good so far.
Also it looks good right now for us to stay both days and fight. Let me know if you can't and need arrangements. I will see what we can do about making sure those that can't stay are able to go when they need to. PM me if you have any questions or have questions on the Authenticity or Barracks arrangements.

Gentlemen, this event is right around the corner!! I'm sure that many of you are as excited as I am about this coming battle! It really seems like it will prove to be quite a fun, exciting and hopefully authentic challenge! Something I want to stress to everyone is that you should START HYDRATING NOW!! I can't express this enough. No one should be dropping out due to heat exhaustion when we are out there. Reenacting can be a physically demanding hobby, and everyone should be prepared accordingly. Also, for those who can, it would be a good idea to start "carbing up" now. In other words, try to increase your intake of carbohydrates. This will help to give you more energy and endurance for the coming battle. I'm very excited to see everyone at the battle, and for those who are not coming, your presence will be greatly missed.
