I'm moving this month and can not afford to take any time off right now so as Mayo mentioned I will be missing this one.
Current weather forcast for Ozena is snow on Friday, scattered showers on Saturday so bring coats, warm clothes. It's easier to shed clothing than to freeze or get drenched. Make sure you hydrate too, its easy to think you don't need to in colder weather but you would be surprised, especially in the rugged conditions of Ozena. If you haven't been to this site before, ride or follow somebody who has. It isn't as easy to find as you might think depending on how well it's marked. I believe it will be well marked this time but there were times it was so poorly marked even the people who have been there couldn't find it.
Digging is allowed, although with the weather conditions it may not be easy. I would expect it's best to figure on being as mobile as possible. Carry two canteens if you have them. There is NO water on site and the jeep won't be there this time with the spare water supply.
Have fun everyone, wish I could go, but sometimes real life has to take priority.

We'll update the weather as the event draws near. It frequently changes fast. Also, we will be bringing a 5 gallon water can. We will hide it and then come back to fill canteens as needed.
