Let us remember those poor souls who perished on this date in 1941. God bless them all.

Here's three links to internet archive's original Radio Broadcast from that day in early December 1941, these are the real broadcast and free to listen to or download, a great resource. Do yourself a favor and turn down any other media and just give these a listen, turn it up a bit, the static of the radio, the crackle of the voice reaching out across the Pacific is all to real, we were going to war and this is that day that will live in infamy. You can search for more but these are three of the better broadcast. There's a wealth of WWII radio here too, all free. Do a search in moving pictures for "Combat Bulletin" and you'll find around 50 of these Army Pictorial Service War Department news films, each coming in at around 15 minutes, watch enough of them and you'll see the 34th crossing the Volturno River in the mud, and I do mean MUD! I think the Volturno River Crossing is in "Combat Bulletin No. 2", check that out as well. Guys if you have a flag pole, please display the US flag half-mast or display a flag at least on the side of the house with black streamer attached at the top to honor those who have fallen on this day.
