Oh,, by the way,, I checked your site out and I like the impression... My group does the 34th ID as one of our main impressions (along with 28th Division,, various Seabee impressions and the occasional PTO Army division thrown into the mix)....
It makes me happy to see another group that hasn't jumped on the 'garri-trooper' bandwagon and is out there paying respect to the guys that fought and served in places other than Normandy... It is especially refreshing to see that you are not only representing a very important, if not often forgotten, group of men,, but that you also are carrying on a legacy of a family member...
Unfortunately,, the vast expanse of the United States will most likely prevent us from ending up at the same event...
