During the War many singers recorded special albums called V-Discs or Victory Discs. These records were sent over seas to the troops. On itunes there is a Mother Lode of these discs. They are available in by disc or you can buy them as singles. Great music, many of them you haven't heard. Or if you have, you'll say, hmmm that is a WW2 tune, I thought it was modern.
